Appointment Cancellation Policy

At BalancePoint Psychiatric Services, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care to all patients. When an appointment is missed or canceled without sufficient notice, it prevents other patients from accessing needed care.

Cancellation Notice

We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows
⦁ Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered a late cancellation.
⦁ Missed appointments without notice will be considered a no-show.
⦁ Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee of $75–$150 which is not covered by insurance.

Arrival Policy
Arriving late may result in the appointment being shortened or rescheduled,

Repeated Missed Appointments
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in:
⦁ Requirement for pre-payment for future visits
⦁ Limited scheduling availability
⦁ Discharge from the practice in accordance with clinical policy

Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur. Exceptions to this policy may be made at the provider’s discretion in such cases.
